Hostgator’s Upgraded Plans

I am VERY excited to announce that a few weeks ago, HostGator updated their hosting plans.

ALL regular hosting accounts (Hatchling, Baby, and Business) now come with Unlimited Disk Space and Unlimited Bandwidth. Prices appear to be the same. Hatchling plan is $8.95 per month if paid monthly, 4.95 per month if you prepay 3 years ahead. Business plan is $14.95 per month if paid monthly, $12.95 if you prepay 3 years ahead.

Reseller plans have about doubled in size. … And just in time 🙂 My 25GB Aluminum package was getting a little low on space.

VPS Plans are still new to Hostgator. But I must say, it looks like they are getting off to a pretty good start with those too. For readers who don’t know what VPS is, it is like the step between a dedicated server and shared hosting. … You get way more power and control than you would with a shared hosting plan. But at a smaller cost (and with less space) than you would get with a dedicated server.

I don’t notice any major upgrades to the dedicated server packages. But I will keep an eye on them.
